R22 with Bypass Fuse Wire Loose

Bypass circuit fuse wire loose – Initially missed this on my preflight, but upon doing a quick gauge scan before startup I noticed the clock/timer screen was blank on the console. At first I thought the battery was dead, so I turned on the master battery switch and saw that I still had power. I started talking to the student I was with about the battery bypass fuse and the function it served. We hopped out of the helicopter so I could show it to him and that is when I noticed that the wire was disconnected.

Maintenance Notes

Outcome: Maintenance Performed

Maintenance reconnected the wire and we continued on with our flight block. They said that it had probably vibrated loose over time.
