Bell 429 - Tail Rotor Elastomeric Bearing Issues

The tail rotor elastomeric bearings exhibit bobbling of the rubber, shearing of the various layers or inadequate damping of tail rotor flapping when moved. The worst picture is the inner face of one bearing which shows wear first but is much harder to see than the outer face. This item is not listed in the pre flight checks.
